What is the most essential component to Früzen Ice?  Water.  We have introduced a Fleck water filtration system to purify all of our ice products.  The Fleck system is designed to improve water quality using the water softener system to ensure the purity of the water.  While hard water is not considered unhealthy, Fleck systems improve the freshness of the water we use for your ice. The system removes moderate amounts of iron and removes the hardness that the ions, calcium and magnesium cause.  We aim to give our customers the opportunity to customize their ice all the way to the water source.  We can provide you with options of name brand waters such as, Fiji, Evian and Poland Spring.  We can guarantee you the confidence that your event has the perfect piece of ice!

JD on the Früzen rocks

Thanks to one of our dedicated readers, we have a delicious new drink called "JD on the Früzen rocks."  Here's the recipe:

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey Whiskey
5 cubes of Früzen pomegranates
*optional - splash of Coke*

Fill glass half full with Früzen pomegranates and pour Jack Daniel's.  Add just a splash of Coke or Diet Coke.  Enjoy!

Last night, Fergie graced the set of Chelsea Lately and presented her vodka: Voli Light.  Voli has one-third fewer calories than the leading brands and has unique flavors like orange-vanilla, espresso vanilla fusion, and lemon.  Since one of  Früzen's mission's is to provide our consumers with healthy and delicious options, we decided to create a drink dedicated to Fergie and Voli.

Glamourtini:

1 1/2 oz of Voli Light Original Vodka
3/4 oz of triple sec
3/4 oz of cranberry juice (can use no sugar added)
1 oz of fresh lime juice
Star-shaped Früzen candy
Diamond-shaped Früzen lychee
Square-shaped Früzen raspberry

Tickled Hot Pink

We were so honored to participate in Tickled HOT Pink, a new event hosted by young professionals in NYC and dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.  Tickled HOT Pink is second generation to Tickled Pink, a mother-daugther event geared towards teenagers that has raised close to one million dollars over the last eight years.  Taking place at the posh Bowery Hotel in the East Village, guests came for some delicious Früzen drinks, dancing, a silent auction, and to celebrate another successful year in the fight against breast cancer.  All proceeds from the night were donated to the Dubin Breast Center in New York City.

Drink of the Week

Dirty Früze-tini 

1.5 oz of Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka
3 Früzen olives
0.5 splashes of olive juice

In a shaker with ice, add olive juice and Smirnoff No. 21 vodka.  Stir and strain in a pre-chilled martini glass.  Garnish with Früzen olives.
